CNSS certificates are required for many procedures in Morocco: bank loan application, Schengen visa file (to prove professional ties in Morocco), new job hiring, apartment rental, tax compliance, public tender registration. Since 2024, CNSS has digitized issuance of these certificates via the Mon DAMANE portal (www.cnss.ma): the vast majority are now downloadable as electronically signed PDFs in minutes, without visiting an agency. This guide lists the 6 most-requested certificates and details the 2026 procedure for each: (1) employment certificate (certifies your declared salaried activity), (2) affiliation certificate (attests that your employer registered you), (3) non-affiliation certificate (useful for schemes reserved for non-salaried like AMO Achamil), (4) annual salary certificate (last 12 months history), (5) contributed quarters certificate (retirement), (6) deregistration certificate (end of employment with an employer).

Mon DAMANE procedure in 5 steps

Step 1: register at www.cnss.ma/fr/mon-damane with your CNSS registration number (shown on your pay slip or CNSS card), national ID, and personal email. Step 2: SMS activation to the number declared by your employer (check CNSS has the right number). Step 3: access "My certificates" and select the desired type. Step 4: immediate download of electronically signed PDF (valid 3 months). Step 5: if your employer hasn't declared the current month yet, you can request the employment certificate with "last declared period" option. Generated certificates carry a QR code for authenticity verification.

Blocking cases and solutions

Several situations block online issuance: (1) employer late on social declaration (must be up-to-date for the system to generate certificate); call them or file a request at the CNSS agency to formally notify them. (2) Outdated national ID on CNSS side (old number, marriage, divorce): go through the agency with national ID copy + civil registry document. (3) Multiple simultaneous employers: select main employer in the form. (4) Misspelled name: email [email protected] with national ID copy for correction. (5) MRE: if you contributed in Morocco then abroad, use the International Treaties service in Casablanca to obtain a cumulative quarters certificate France-Morocco or Belgium-Morocco depending on country.
