About CFG Bank
CFG Bank is an independent Moroccan bank listed on the Casablanca Stock Exchange, incorporated on 15 September 1992 as Casablanca Finance Group. Its co-founders Adil Douiri (chairman of the board) and Amyn Alami (vice-chairman and deputy chief executive) built it into one of Morocco's first investment banks: asset management, equity brokerage, corporate finance and private equity. Licensed as a bank by decision no. 35 of the Governor of Bank Al-Maghrib dated 25 April 2012, it launched retail banking in the second half of 2015 under the CFG Bank name, then mortgages in 2016. Its head office is at 5-7 rue Ibnou Toufail (Palmier) in Casablanca; a move to a new head office is planned within twelve months, according to the February 2026 financial release. The bank is run by chief executive Younes Benjelloun, with Souad Benbachir Hassani and Driss Benchaffai as deputy chief executives. According to the 2025 reference document registered with the AMMC (August 2026), CFG Bank belongs to no banking or industrial group: at 31 December 2025 the founders held 10.65% of the capital, employee shareholders 11.9%, RMA 7.24%, Zouhair Bennani 4.83%, Majdaline Holding 4.66%, Mutandis 4.44%, Bank of Africa 4.07%, AXA Assurance Maroc and the CIMR pension fund 3.25% each, with the stock-market free float at 39.37%. The IPO of 18 December 2023 (MAD 600 million capital increase, 5,454,545 shares issued at MAD 110) brought share capital to MAD 700,159,200.
Key 2025 figures: according to the financial communication approved by the board on 18 February 2026, customer loans reached MAD 19.0 billion (+21%), deposits MAD 20.3 billion (+11%, close to 50% of them non-interest-bearing) and total assets MAD 30.4 billion (+22%). Consolidated net banking income came to MAD 1,247 million (+32%), including MAD 990 million of recurring income (net interest margin 512 million, fees 478 million); gross operating income reached MAD 633 million (+63%) with a cost-to-income ratio of 49.2%, cost of risk MAD 46 million (0.26% of loans) and group net income MAD 370 million (+41%). Consolidated equity stood at MAD 2,087 million, ROE at 21% and the consolidated solvency ratio at 18.7%; two subordinated debt issues of MAD 500 million each (June and December 2025) support loan growth. Proposed dividend: MAD 4 per share (+21%), paid in June 2026. At 31 March 2026, loans were still growing 20% year on year (MAD 19.2 billion) and deposits 10% (MAD 20 billion); the revised 2026 guidance targets net banking income up more than 5%, recurring income up more than 25% and group net income up more than 15%, and the group now targets group net income of around MAD 600 million by 2029. The group employed 548 people at end-2025 (54% women).
Mortgage (Crédit Immo sur mesure): according to the official product page, financing of up to 100% of the price excluding acquisition costs depending on the type of property, over a maximum of 20 years, with the borrower no older than 70 at the end of the loan. Choice of fixed or variable rate, file fees of 0.1% of the loan amount, a reply announced within 48 hours of a complete application, first-rank mortgage, compulsory death-disability and multi-risk home insurance. Flexibility options: annual adjustment of instalments, suspension of up to 12 months (4 times maximum), deferred repayment from the 7th month and an "11 instalments out of 12" formula. The bank publishes no rate grid: as a benchmark, our 2026 barometer places fixed market rates between 3.75% and 4.80%, in a context where the Bank Al-Maghrib board of 23 June 2026 held the key rate at 2.25%. CFG Bank SA's outstanding mortgages reached MAD 4.9 billion at end-2025 (+18.8%).
Consumer, Lombard and One-Shot loans: the Crédit Conso finances MAD 5,000 to 300,000 over a maximum of 72 months for employees (60 months for self-employed professionals), at a fixed rate depending on the term, for customers aged 20 to 70 with more than 3 months of banking history; the representative example published by the bank shows a 9.06% APR (TEG) for MAD 40,000 over 60 months (monthly instalment MAD 860 excluding insurance, file fees MAD 465, insurance MAD 648). To weigh this offer against banks and finance companies, see our 2026 consumer credit comparison. Two products set CFG Bank apart: the Lombard loan, which lets you pledge all or part of a securities portfolio to raise cash without selling it, and the One-Shot loan, a short-term loan secured by financial or real estate assets.
Savings and investments: the savings passbook account earns the regulatory minimum rate set by Bank Al-Maghrib (1.61% gross in the first half of 2026, revised every six months), capped at MAD 400,000 excluding interest, with no account-keeping fees, interest calculated daily and paid quarterly, and 30% withholding tax for residents (10% for non-residents); the bank also offers a boosted-rate passbook, term deposits and certificates of deposit, Education savings and long-term savings. The group also manages MAD 13.8 billion of real estate assets through REIM Partners (OPCI funds, listed REITs Aradei Capital and Immorente Invest).
